How to Improve your Command Line Skills
A few weeks ago Launch School ran the Introduction to Command Line Workshop which attendees found extremely helpful:

Due to its popularity, Launch School will re-running the Command Line Workshop again along with the following:
- A Beginner’s Guide to Flow Control and Loops: learn how to use “if”, “else”, “for”, “while” and other keywords in both JavaScript and Ruby

Monday November 7th at 8pm US Eastern
In this workshop Grace will guide you through how to control the flow of your data using “if” statements, truthiness and useful operators for conditionals in JavaScript. You’ll also cover “for” and “while” looping structures and how to control loops using the “break” statement.
Thursday November 10th at 12pm US Eastern
In this workshop Trevor will introduce you to the Command Line and its benefits. You will also learn the difference between the terminal vs a shell, how to write and execute commands and how to navigate your way around the file system.
Friday November 11th at 12pm US Eastern
In this workshop Clare will show you how to control the flow of your data using conditionals, truthiness and operators in Ruby. You’ll also cover the various kinds of looping structures in Ruby and how to perform simple recursion.
